Episode 23 Mother Nature has ruined my day!

I could not go outside today it was rainy and cold when all week I have had the sun and perfect playing weather. I do not like it when I can not go outside I do believe that I will spoil mom and dads mood too just because if I don't get it then they don't get it. See about a week and a half ago when the weather was really nice I decided that I wanted to go outside and play I like to play outside in fact it is one of my favorite words and actions now. My mom she discovered that when i got to go outside that I slept better at night well with rainy weather and no outside play I think I will get up really early and maybe even in the middle of the night what do you think about that mother nature....

Episode 22 NO Nap Nelson!

That is right I am at the age where I am fighting my naps I don't want to nap I want to play no nap, no nap, no nap, this is what i say I was put down for my nap and what do i do oh i don't scream i say dad, mom, dad every ten minutes I know they hear me they just ignore me but I would have crawled out but they foiled my plans not so long ago with this tent thing.. I shall discover the secret and rule the world....he he he ha ha ha......p.s I really liked the puppy movie bolt it was funny!

Episode 21 My cousin my friend

Well I have a cousin her name is Sophia I love her. She is fun to play, fight with, and kiss and hug. I can't wait for a play date cause I am told that she is missing me really bad but who could blame her I am definitely all that. What can I say Ben you are the man ha ha but i thought this was great cause when you ask her she says where is Ben go to Ben's and when you ask her who her friends are she says Ben. I think that I will learn to say that she is my friend to that will be my practice for the week being as i have now mastered counting to 10....well it is bedtime so gotta go I hear my mom....

Episode 20 Fall down and go boom!

Okay it is official I have my first boo boo, ouchie, scrape, what ever you want to call it....and it hurts! Most people who fall would try to stop themselves with there arms but not me instead I fall and I keep falling face plant right on the ground... It was my first trip to mama and papa's where i could go outside and play cause they have a big backyard and it is supposed to be fun but instead i fall down and went boom! but the bright side is i got to ride with papa on the tractor that made it all better but mom says i don't look all better but i am still cute and lovable...until then .....

Episode 19 half way summersaults yipee!

He has went from standing on his head to almost going over into a somersault yippee not quite but close he is a little of kilter. instead of going all the way over he kinda leans to the side it is pretty funny and he thinks so to so it is a never ending circle i can see it now the day he gets it right after he scares himself silly he will be doing it everywhere this is to cute....

Episode 18 Its all about Spring Fever

To start this off with saying to my sister and the glorious aunt Mimi that no harm was intended before with the last post only great appreciation for the fact that she has this stuff when it is needed.

It starts with a nice day and a certain Lil boy who really likes to go outside you see after being couped up all winter long outside is that splendid place that all Lil boys dream of. The sun beating down on you in the warm weather that is just so perfect that playing outside is the best time of the day. from slime and snails to puppy dog tails a Lil boy with out the outside is lost. He loves going outside so much that if you leave to go to the store and he does not go with you he screams and cries...stomps his feat in a huge temper tantrum and it is like he has been beat. To top it all off if you come in from outside rather it has gotten dark or cool or the dreaded nap monster has struck it is even a bigger temper tantrum as if you thought it could get any worse soon the grass will be drier and the park will beckon to us on a daily basis till then.....

Episode 17 Houdini has a new name

That's right Houdini has a new name and his name is Ben the Great Toddler. The mattress sets on the lowest setting the rail at its highest point and with out fail he got out how you might ask well a magician never reveals his secrets. So what would any great mom do I go running and calling my sister where oh where do you get one of those things that keeps them in and she kindly replies " my basement of course". Because without fail you can count on her she keeps everything many kudos to her and major thanks cause even though he does not quite like the tent he is not majorly objecting to it at this point and for now Houdini is pinned in. What will be the next great trick well one will never know what goes on in the mind of a great toddler. Until next time.......

Episode 16 Mine mine mine

A common phrase that as all of the sudden became a common phrase in out house MINE it is a horrible word but unfortunately a part of a toddlers life and it seems a big part of my toddler. This phrase has become the favorite of his he uses it to label everything from his cup with Elmo on it to his favorite blue blanket that is so lovingly called his blank. He says with authority Mine mine blue blank his first full and clear sentence. I am so proud even though it is very selfish phrase how can you not be proud of that imagine what it is gonna be like when the doc ask does he put words together yet? I will do my best to refrain from laughing. New words are being added day by day and it is getting so that you can actually understand some of them my favorite is thank..you and he pauses just right in there to get it two syllables. It makes you wonder what it will be that he will say next or what he will do next.

Episode 15 The Great Toddler adventures!

from shy to honery to just plain mean they seem to go through many moods and changes. Lately he has been talking a lot and he seems to like to dress up and be a cool dude. some of the newest phrases include wheres my boots and bye bye, see ya, the most favorite of mine is thank you and love you they are so cute when they do that.... well all for now a picture to mark progress shall do the trick.
